AVA Free Short Film Library – 31 New Films Added

Jun 25, 2018 |
Events, News

Today we are delighted to announce that the upgraded AVA Short Film library will be live from 11am.

31 additional titles from the 2017 Cork Film Festival (along with 24 existing titles from the 2016 Festival) will be available to view, for free, at our AVA viewing booth, located in Central Library on Grand Parade in the heart of Cork City.

Drop in during library opening hours and settle in to the dedicated viewing space where you can watch a selection of Irish and international titles including the CFF17 Best Cork Short winner Linda Curtin’s ‘Everything Alive Is in Movement’; locally made schlock masterpiece and Best Short winner at the 2017 Russian International Horror Film Festival, Jack Scott’s ‘Wood’; Best Documentary Short at the 2017 Fastnet Film Festival, ‘Raymond’; and much loved Children’s animation ‘The Last Leaf’.

Additionally from the Autumn, library card holders will be able to view the entire catalogue online on their own internet enabled devices. Please check our website for full programme details and for updates on how to access the expanded AVA programme from wherever you are.

Check out our AVA webpage for further information and full catalogue details.
