Submissions for the 67th Cork International Film Festival are officially open

Submit your film now to the 67th edition of the Cork International Film Festival, Ireland’s first and largest film festival. The Festival welcomes submissions of Irish and international features and shorts, and all forms of film production – fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, etc, as well as looking for interesting new voices and work that pushes boundaries and takes risks in its diverse programme, showcased both in cinemas and online via our dedicated digital platform.

Filmmakers’ achievements and excellence are recognised and celebrated through 10 Awards, 3 of which are Academy Award® qualifying. Films are submitted via the online submission platform, Film Freeway.

Applicants to the 2022 submissions platform will be notified of the outcome of their submission in September 2022.

Submit your film by our Early Bird Deadline to avail of discounted submission fees!

Submission Deadlines 2022:

Monday 10th January – Submissions open
Friday 11th March – Early Bird Deadline
Friday 20th May – Regular Deadline
Friday 15th July – Late Deadline (Features, Feature Documentaries, International Shorts, International Documentary Shorts)
Friday 5th August – Irish Shorts Late Deadline (Irish Shorts, Irish Documentary Shorts, Cork Shorts, Cork Documentary Shorts)
