A multi-methods evaluation study on CIFF’s unique and vital youth film and mental health programme, Intinn, has been named an Outstanding Paper in the 2025 Emerald Literati Awards.
‘A film-based intervention (Intinn) to enhance adolescent mental health literacy and well-being: multi-methods evaluation study’, was written by University College Cork’s Dr Johnny Goodwin and colleagues, and was published in Mental Health Review Journal.

The paper – written by Dr. Goodwin and colleagues at University College Cork’s School of Nursing & Midwifery – provided strong evidence that Intinn is vital to young people and schools.
Since 1993, the Emerald Literati Awards have celebrated the thinkers and innovators whose ideas push boundaries and open new possibilities for the future of knowledge itself. Chosen by the journal’s editor and editorial team, this recognition reflects our dedication, insight, and unseen efforts to keep knowledge moving forward.
