| Even as the youngest storytelling medium, the cinema has still had over a century to refine and perfect its ability to move, thrill and challenge audiences. It has done this with different styles and tricks through fables, fantasies and fictions. But the story is only one aspect of film art and it was neither its first nor its main faculty to delight billions of spectators.
