Cork Film Festival announces major sponsorship

Cork Film Festival has announced a major new sponsor in Barry Fitzwilliam Maxxium, importers of Corona Extra and other products.

The event will now be know as the "Corona Cork Film Festival".

Cork Film Festival welcomes new festival chairperson

Cff New Chairperson

Cork Film Festival is delighted to announce that Michael O’Connell has been appointed as Chairperson of their board. Michael is a well-known Cork solicitor and he is a longstanding member of the festival board. Michael is also chairperson of the Triskel Arts Centre and is a patron of film, music and the visual arts in Cork.

Short Film Market

In January/February 2007, Cork Film Festival participated at the most important international short film market in Clermont-Ferrand. With a market stand, a market screening and a promotional DVD of new Irish shorts, our aim was to provide cultural representation for Irish filmmakers on an international stage.
