Filmmakers discuss strategies for successfully documenting musicians and their music. The panel discussion involves a diverse mix of film makers from the music documentary genre.
Recent work by participants is rooted in the music documentary genre, but technique and background varies greatly – from observational to interactive, essayistic and experimental – they offer insights into style, process and obstacles facing all film makers, particularly those new to the genre.

Discussion on Film Directing includes award winning Director Ken Wardrop (His and Hers) and Phil Harisson (Even Gods) winner of Best Irish Short Film and Audience Award for Best Irish Short Film in Cork, 2011. Phil’s first feature, The Good Man, will screen at this year’s festival.
3) PANEL DISCUSSION: FILM PRODUCTION & DISTRIBUTION
