American Boy + American Prince

In 1978, Martin Scorsese turned his camera on his friend and roommate, Steven Prince, with his lost documentary American Boy. Best known for his small role as Easy Andy, in Taxi Driver, Prince is a raconteur telling stories about his life as a heroin addict and a road manager for Neil Diamond.Thirty years later, Tommy Palotta follows up with the story of Steven Prince. Did you know that the scene from Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, in which Travolta injects adrenaline into the heart of a woman who overdosed, is based on a true story? It happened to Steven Prince.
