Gillian Armstrong
Australia | 2010 | 87mins | Beta | Colour
It was 1976 when acclaimed director Gillian Armstrong filmed three best friends, 14-year-olds Kerry, Josie and Diana, who candidly told audiences about their lives, hopes and dreams. They continued to tell their stories at the ages of 18, 26 and 33. With astounding depth, openness and intimacy, the journey of these three ordinary but extraordinary Australian women was captured. In 2009, aged 47, Kerry, Josie and Diana agreed to do one more. Today their stories explore universal themes about growing up, work, money, love, marriage and the conflicts and complexities of family life. What secrets will be revealed?
