Belgium | 2010 | 51mins | Beta | Colour | Subtitled
Symon Zaleski’s Happy End is a chronicle of the heroic journey taken by our narrator in this searching, reflective and often, humorous documentary. Confronted with the worsening of his cancer, the narrator chaotically attempts to secure a remedy that will save him. As we bear witness to his search, the film simultaneously offers us a paradoxical insight, full of irony, into the crossing of realities and myths of our times.
