Becloud revolves around the lives of three former school friends and the tragic event that binds their lives together. José is a dreamer who works in his father’s ice factory, Andrés lives with his alcoholic father and spends his time exploring ancient rituals, and Felipe cyber stalks a customer in his internet café. Their lives are in transition, caught in post-adolescent limbo. One of them harbours a dark secret emerging from an incident that reverberated through their community of Iztapalapa. From its startling opening images, Bicecci has skilfully fashioned a complex coming-of-age drama with an historical sweep.The Director will introduce the screening.
