Welcome to Moominland; surreal, intriguing and eccentric! The Moomins are the central characters in books by illustrator and writer, Tove Jansson, and cult classics in their own right. A family of oddly shaped troll characters who live an adventurous and carefree life in the forests of Finland, the Moomins stories have a humane message that make them and their philosophies a charming delight for adult and child alike. A tranquil summer day in the Moomin Valley is interrupted by a volcanic eruption. Water rises higher and higher, but at the last minute the Moomin family finds refuge in a strange house that floats to their rescue. This house turns out to be a theatre, and the young girl living there helps the Moomin family who want to produce a play which Moominpappa has started to write. Moomins And The Comet Chase is a spellbinding family animation, the first Scandinavian 3D feature ever made.
