With his largely lo-fi set up and enthusiaasm for building and modifying his own equipment, Ian has consistently explored teh interaction between image and sound. Whie all his 50 shorts features his own experimental music, the films in these programmes demonstrate his ongoing interest in generating both picture and sound through a direct physical connection, where one piece of equipment is literally plugged into another.This retrospective programme culminates in a premiere of Ian’s new film.
