A guest at this year’s Cork Film Festival, Swiss animator Georges Schwizgebel’s images have won over audiences from movie and television screens around the world for more than 35 years. With marked brushstrokes, he paints directly onto acetate film. Georges’ images have won awards at Cannes, Locarno and other major festivals.

This is a wonderful opportunity to see a selection of his unique, inspirational and painterly short animations.
