    Vivienne Dick

A celebratory evening of art, film screenings and live music with artist / filmmaker Vivienne Dick and musical guests. The show will include a selection of super 8 and pinhole films and live music by Pat Place and Cynthia Sley of The Bush Tetras and Dj sets from Julian Dorguere and John Byrne.

Between Truth and Fiction – a retrospective of celebrated filmmaker and artist Vivienne Dick runs in the Crawford Gallery up to November 7th. Vivienne was to the fore of the ‘No Wave’ movement in New York in the late 1970s and early 1980s, a time of collaborative countercultural production of music and film. It’s a great treat that Vivienne is in Cork to present a retrospective of her work and we highly recommend her exhibition at the Crawford Gallery to all patrons.
