With allies such as Jean Cocteau, Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet in France, Gershon Kingsley and Angelo Badalamenti in the United States, Jean-Jacques Perrey has worked to create a new sound, which was perfectly aligned to the desire for modernity of the 1960's. Never forgetting his first love - medicine -he composed in 1958 the first album of electronic relaxation: Prelude To Sleep. His groundbreaking and electronic pop has influenced several generations of musicians.
