Urszula Antoniak's Nothing Personal is an intense and engrossing tale centering on a ferociously independent young woman's relationship with a kindly widower, played by Stephen Rea, in rural Ireland. The nameless woman is hiking through the hinterland and accidentally stumbles along Martin, who offers her food in exchange for work. The two are drawn to solitude yet find an odd bond in this as their relationship begins to blossom. As each becomes more intrigued by the other, what emerges is far from predictable in this highly absorbing tale.
