A young Australian woman, Claire, becomes energised by the discovery of her mother's love letters from a youthful liaison she had in Paris. Putting her relationship with her dim boyfriend on hold Claire moves to Paris in order to understand the passion her mother experienced. Once settled there she begins to lose herself to the city's charms and becomes intoxicated by its sense of mystery and possibility; but is it enough to satisfy her own sense of longing? In Kissing Paris, the city of light has found a worthy love letter.
