Harry Brown is a modern urban Western that reflects the stark realities of youth crime in the 21st century. Sir Michael Caine plays Harry Brown, an elderly widower and ex-Marine who lives alone in a rundown housing estate overrun with drugs, crime and violence. Harry's one true friend Leonard is brutally murdered and the perpetrator walks free, which sees Harry deciding to bring his own unique brand of justice to the decadent British streets. However, his own role as vigiliante yields terrifying results as he is forced to face up to the young thugs and the local police.
