|
When a reclusive and jealous rock promoter discovers that a young artist has been spying on, and painting, his wife he kidnaps and imprisons him in his country house. The wife is a disturbed woman and she takes care of the artist as if he is a newborn baby. Meanwhile a naïve young girl, on the instructions of a shadowy friend, approaches the rock star in the hope of making it as a singer.
Downey makes strong use of the atmospheric rural setting to create a suspenseful and startling original film. |
