In the village of Bialy Dunajec, close to Zakopane in the Polish mountains began the relationship of Jan and Ewa. He was 27; she was 13. The relationship soon took a dark turn. Jan became controlling and abusive. He was suspicious of her and constantly demanded to know of her whereabouts. In a fit of passion Ewa killed her ‘fiancé’ and buried his body under the floor of her own house. It was assumed by all that the ‘fiancé’ had merely left.
Ewa got married, finished studies, gave birth to a child. On the ‘grave’ of her fiancé, she prepared a play corner for her little daughter….
After four years, the police solved the crime. Ewa told them in details about the horror she had to go through as a child. About the years of fear, violence and tears. She was sentenced to four years of prison but she still dreams of coming back to her husband and their little daughter. However, fate was cruel to her again….
This is a story of passion, hate and people who got lost. This is a story of sick love.
This film will be screened with The Unsubmissive
