Le Grand Voyage

Following on from the huge success of Les Choristes in 2005/6, the Irish Film Institute and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Ireland are delighted to announce that this film tour and study guide project is set to continue in 2006/7.

This powerful, moving drama centres on the relationship between father and son as they drive through Europe to Mecca. The film highlights the many differences between them, generational, religious and linguistic, but their pilgrimage to Mecca also becomes a journey towards reconciliation.
