At the age of fourteen, Cordelia Edvardson was sent to Theresienstadt concentration camp before ending up in the horrors of Auschwitz. Her whole family had been killed but remarkably she survived, escaping to Sweden at the end of the war, eventually marrying and having five children.
She established herself as a journalist before leaving Sweden and subsequently basing herself in Jerusalem. At the age of seventy-six she is still committed as a journalist, drawing on her experiences as a Holocaust survivor and dedicating her career to exposing the injustices on both sides of the Israel-Palestine conflict. |
