CONNECTIONS
Film installation by Jackie Doyle
Triskel Arts Centre
October 9th to 16th Admission Free

With the growth of racism as a problem affecting not only Ireland and the UK but most of Europe's major cities, this film installation explores issues of identity and perception. Six distinct narratives gradually weave a web of complicity and confusions in the departure lounge of an unknown space. Connections was specially commissioned by The British Council in partnership with Belfast Film Festival.

Jackie Doyle trained at Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is a founder member of Prime Cut; one of Ireland's foremost independent theatre companies. Her producing and directing credits over the thirteen years as an artistic director of the company are numerous. Jackie regularly works as a script consultant and mentor. She has recently completed research on a project exploring the relationship between criminality and art.
