UAIR: Uaireanta An Chloig De Dhrámaíocht Teilif’se I nGaeilge

Next year, Oscailt celebrates its 10th anniversary. Instead of having a nostalgic look back at the wonderful shorts that have been made, TG4 and BSÉ/IFB would like to take a step into the future by proposing a joint scheme 'Uair' to fund single one-hour TV dramas in Irish.

Uair will develop and fund single hour-length dramas that will be scheduled as Event TV Occasions in the TG4 programme schedule and will showcase at the Cork Film Festival 2006.

Uair is primarily open to all those who have made short films under the Oscailt or Lasair support schemes but also open to those who have made other fiction in Irish.

To launch Uair at the Cork Film Festival, TG4 and BSÉ / IFB invite you to a workshop.
