The Eye Of The Pilot

The second half of this Gala looks to the future with The Eye Of The Pilot, a live cinema performance, project by leading audiovisual group, Addictive TV in collaboration with French guitarist Alejandro de Valera. Taking the form of an aerial travelogue, the project remixes the 8mm colour footage of French airline pilot Raymond Lamy, filmed during his travels from continent to continent in the 1950's.

The original footage has been 're-animated' and reworked with a soundtrack written by composer and DJ, Tolly in collaboration with de Valera. The musical and visual journey takes us to places such as Karachi, the Ivory Coast, Saigon, Tahiti, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
