  • 59 shorts are screened as opposed to 102 shorts in 1959
  • London Star, Jill Adams shows the Cork public how to make drisheen
  • Ger Breen suggests holding the festival every 18 months
  • Three top Czechoslovakian experts recommend that the government buy copies of the Gael Linn Films "Mise Eire and "Saoirse" for screening in Czechoslovakia.
