Fresh Film Festival Screening
Fresh Film Logo

The Irish Schools Video Competition at the Fresh Film Festival has grown in 7 years to become a central element in developing interest in filmmaking as a career amongst young people in Ireland. With the main aim to encourage young people to tell their own stories using film, video and utilising digital technologies, the Festival has offered the public the first opportunity to see the work of the next generation of film-makers. Many of the winners have gone on to media and film school following their initial ventures at the Festival.
