This year we are delighted again to facilitate the second
level support service in relation to teachers' workshop on
film.
Course Title
Approaches to the Teaching of Film in the English Classroom
Target Group
Second level teachers of English of Junior and Senior Cycle
and Transition Year.
Aims

To explore and develop
approaches for teaching film. Areas covered will include:

Film & Narrative Writing.

To provide a forum for
teachers to share their experience and insights. |

To put ideas into practice
in teachers' own work situation and to reflect on and
document the outcomes. |

Course leaders will respond dynamically to the emerging
needs of participants.
The programme for Day three will include the screening of
a film from the list of LC texts prescribed for study in 2006.
