Stepping Stones
Negotiating the transition to feature filmmaking. Cork's
Stepping Stones is intended for director's and producers who
have recently made one or two short film and who wish to make
the transition to feature film making.
The seminar consists of a series of modules of case studies
of the career paths of Irish filmmakers.
Tutors include Tristan Orpen Lynch, producer of Night Train
and Song For A Raggy Boy (both screening at the festival);
Edwina Forkin, producer of Headrush (CFF 2003); Noreen Donohue
producer of The Last Time (winner of Jameson Award Cork Film
Festival, 2002 and UIP Award for Best Irish Short 2002), now
developing a feature; Ronan Glennane, Producer of the feature
film Peaches, and Marketing Director with Abbey Films, and
director of The Account (CFF 2003).
